The Urban Leadership Internship Program is a summer internship that provides a paid professional work experience combined with a service component in an urban setting. Each student admitted into the ULIP works with the Coordinator of the program during the Spring semester to design an internship uniquely suited to their goals and interests.>> |

Employers are sought who can provide a good work experience, appropriate supervision, and who are involved in the urban center in which they are located. Employers find these Miami students to be highly motivated, very capable assets to their organizations. >>

Each year, approximately 25 students are selected to participate in the Urban Leadership Internship Progam. Many say that it is the most transformative learning experience of their college career.

Students interested in the Urban Leadership Internship Program must apply. Qualified students can apply to the program during the Fall Semester. Informational sessions are held each October with applications due in November.>>
