Internship/Service Experience:
I worked this summer at Columbus Children's Hospital, now known as Nationwide Children's Hospital, as a research assistant for the Center for Injury Research and Policy under Dr. Huiyun Xiang.  There I was able to write a paper regarding school stress, sleep patterns, and farm-related injury among middle-school students in rural China that is currently under review by an international pediatrics journal.  I volunteered at Physician's Free Clinic in Columbus and met the most interesting and admirable physicians and med students.  My experience through the ULIP was invaluable both because of the things that I learned and for the things I discovered about myself and what I want for my future.
